Church Family

It’s not what you said, it’s how you said it.  Have you ever been told that?  Have you ever said it?  How we say something is often as important as what we say.

Colossians 4:2-6 (NIV)
2  Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.
3  And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains.
4  Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should.
5  Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity.
6  Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

Are we devoted to prayer?  Are we praying for God to open doors for us to share the gospel message?  Are we wise in the way we act towards outsiders and insiders?  Are we by God’s Spirit making the most of every opportunity?

Is our conversation always full of grace?  Is every word, every comment you make full of grace?  Is it possible the problem with our witness is not that we fail to understand the truth but, it is not what we say but how we say it?

Are your words seasoned with salt?  Salt is important but we can have to little or to much.  The only way we will know the right amount to say and the right way to say it, is by the leading of the Holy Spirit.  Are we praying for the Holy Spirits leading in every area of our lives?

Is it possible God would like to open some doors, opportunities for us to share the gospel but He cannot because He knows we will say the right thing the wrong way?

My prayer for each of us is that our conversation, our words, our expressions will be full of grace and seasoned with salt, with the love and compassion of Jesus, so we may speak to everyone in a way that reflects Jesus.

Worship Service

The church worship service will be on YouTube: It will begin at 11am  This Sabbath we will continue our series on the Character of Jesus.  We will look at His Character as revealed by His life on this earth.  If you would like some reading to go along with the sermon series, I would recommend Morris Venden’s book “How Jesus Treated People”  This Sabbath the sermon is “Let Down for Good” looking at Jesus forgiving and healing the paralytic found in Matthew 9:1-8; Mark 2:1-12; Luke 5:17-26

Please remember Adobe Adventist Christian School in your prayers each day.  I would also encourage you to support the school with the Fry’s VIP program by linking your card to our school and using the Arizona tax credit to support our school.

Thank you for your support of our school and church financial needs.  You can return your tithes and offering by mailing them to P.O. Box 3250 Apache Junction, AZ 85117 or by online giving thru the church website

May we pray without ceasing and always remember one another in our prayers.

God Bless

Pastor Van
