Church Family

What would happen if we humbled ourselves before God and prayed? One author I trust say we would see 100 times the conversions we see now.

“After His resurrection, Christ ascended to heaven, and He is today presenting our needs to the Father. "I have graven thee upon the palms of My hands," He says. Isaiah 49:16. It cost something to engrave them there. It cost untold agony. If we would humble ourselves before God, and be kind and courteous and tenderhearted and pitiful, there would be one hundred conversions to the truth where now there is only one. But, though professing to be converted, we carry around with us a bundle of self that we regard as altogether too precious to be given up. It is our privilege to lay this burden at the feet of Christ and in its place take the character and similitude of Christ. The Saviour is waiting for us to do this.” Testimonies 9 pg. 189

100 conversions compared to 1. We need to have the humility of Christ in our hearts and lives. We have the opportunity to see what God can do with the It Is Written Acts20:21 events starting October 9th. The church board voted to participate. If you would like more information you can go to https://www.itiswritten.com/acts2021/church/ We will have more information on the church website.

Please pray that you will have a kind, courteous, tenderhearted and pitiful spirit and attitude and that the Holy Spirit would be poured out on us as a church.

The church board voted to reopen the church on October 3rd if there is no serious spike in covid case between now and then. We will have a limited number of 60 people to practice social distancing. The requirements for attendance will be posted on the church website. We will also have an option to register to attend on the church website. Please pray for us as we go forward.

If you have prayer requests or wish to be a part of our prayer ministry team email Ro at roro3@aol.com or call 480-982-8149.
